Rachel is an entrepreneur-artist and the founder of the Emergent University. She has previously started several other ventures, including Spontaneous Space! Interaction Lab, MEDDY Interaction Art Studio, and Adjacent.

Rachel holds two Masters degrees from the University of Michigan in Urban Planning and Information Science, as well as an undergraduate degree in English and Environmental Humanities from Stony Brook University's Honors College. She was named a Forbes 30 Under 30 Second Round Nominee for 2020, and is a Zell Lurie Entrepreneurship Fellow. When not building things, she likes to cook, hike, and read science fiction.
